GUTTERS PROTECT YOUR HOME. PROTECT YOUR GUTTERS.
Gutters function by funneling water off the roof and away from the structure. They are essential in keeping your house safe from the elements, providing the following benefits:

-
Gutters protect the structure's siding and insulation from water damage.
-
Gutters protect landscaping from the targeted onslaught of roof runoff.
-
Gutters protect the foundation from costly repairs.
COMMON GUTTER PROBLEMS
Gutters are the workhorses of your home's defense against the elements. They're also more exposed and prone to damage than the rest of the structure.

Sagging Gutters
Sagging Gutters
Gutters often become loose, saggy or even detached from their house. Old gutters, particularly those secured using spikes and ferrules (large nails), are prone to pulling away from the structure. When this happens, the spikes can be replaced with hidden screw brackets to re-secure the gutters to the fascia.

Smashed Gutters
Gutters can suffer devastating damage during ice and wind storms due to falling tree branches and limbs. Gutters usually take the brunt of large vehicle collisions with houses (Moving vans, garbage trucks, school buses, etc).

Overflowing Gutters
Overflowing gutters are usually a sign of clogged gutters. Clogs are usually solved with a good cleaning. In some cases, overflowing gutters can be caused by improper slope or a loose connection to the fascia. In rare cases, the drainage pipes need to be cleared. We can fix both of these issues.

Detached Downspouts
Detached Downspouts
Downspouts can become detached from the gutters or the wall. In either case, the problem can be related to clogging (causes the downspout to hold excess weight), rot, corrosion, or improper installation. We reattach the downspout and resolve the underlying issue to prevent future reoccurrences.

Leaking Gutters
Leaky gutters are usually caused by a failure of the sealant at gutter seams, joints, and end caps. This sealant inevitably breaks down over time, especially if it was applied improperly during installation. These areas can be cleaned, dried, and re-sealed. Installing seamless gutters greatly reduces the likelihood of leaks.

GUTTER REPAIR VS. REPLACE
Leaking, sagging, bent, hanging, or otherwise malfunctioning gutters and downspouts on existing structures can often be repaired before needing to be replaced. If they have multiple forms of damage in multiple places, it is likely a good time to replace them.
While some gutters may be returned to functionality via repairs, they cannot be made to look new if they've been dented, bent, smashed, or gouged.

Our estimators will conduct a thorough inspection and give you a list of options to address your unique situation.
OUR PROCESS
When our estimators arrive at your property, they will speak with you (if you're home) about the issue and ask a series of questions to understand the history and symptoms of the issue. Next, they'll inspect the whole gutter/downspout system, paying special attention to the problem areas you highlighted for them.
They will diagnose the problem and propose a list of viable solutions. If the repair is minor, they will perform it on the spot that day. If it requires new gutter lengths to be produced, the estimator will get your project on our schedule.
